ANÓTALOPrivacy policy
The short version: Anótalo doesn’t collect any data. There’s no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your games and the photos you take to score them are stored only on your iPhone, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Who we are
Anótalo is made and published by Reverse LLC (“we”, “us”). If you have a question about this policy, write to privacy@anotaloapp.com.
What the app stores on your iPhone
To keep score, Anótalo saves the following in its own private storage on your device:
- Games: team names, game mode, the points, prizes and bonuses of each hand, and when the game was played.
- Hand photos: when you score a hand with a photo, a compressed copy of that photo is kept with the hand so players can look at it later if there’s a question about the count.
- Settings: language, appearance and whether the chiva sound is on.
This information never leaves your iPhone through Anótalo. We can’t see it and have no way to access it.
Camera
Anótalo asks for camera access so it can count the tiles in a photo. The camera is used only while the scan screen is open. The photo is analyzed on your iPhone to find the tiles and count their pips. It isn’t uploaded anywhere.
Photo library
If you choose an existing photo instead of taking one, Anótalo uses the iOS photo picker. The picker gives the app only the photo you select. Anótalo doesn’t ask for access to your photo library and can’t see your other photos.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a game (swipe it, long-press it and choose “Delete game”, or use “Clear finished”) deletes its hands and their photos.
- Resetting stats sets them back to zero.
- Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
Device backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, iOS may include Anótalo’s data in that backup, as it does for most apps. Those backups are managed by Apple and by your own settings. We don’t have access to them.
What we don’t do
- We don’t collect, sell, rent or share personal information.
- We don’t use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or other third-party SDKs.
- We don’t track you across apps or websites.
Children
Anótalo is suitable for all ages. Because it doesn’t collect data from anyone, it doesn’t collect data from children.
When you contact us
If you email support@ or privacy@anotaloapp.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, such as a screenshot or a photo. We use it only to answer you and to fix the problem you report, and we delete it when it’s no longer needed for that.
This website
anotaloapp.com doesn’t use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. It’s hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Anótalo handles data differently (for example, syncing games through iCloud), we’ll update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
